dj.mario started working on a local Radio Station called “Europa Nova” as an IT/Commercial Producer back in 1996, at the age of 16. One Show was the weekly Top 25 hosted by Discoland resident dj.land, which was by then the No 1 Club in Town competing for Top 10 in Romania.

I was invited at Discoland later on as a trainee, later one when one of the residents quit, I was given the possibility to play as a resident. Later on I joined some small club in Timisoara which later on came to be the first “afterhour” in Timisoara.

From then till now, I played for the major clubs in town, and some summer clubs at Black Sea, later on join management side on IS county, for two clubs, having besides deejaying, responsibility for marketing side (flyers, radio spots, promotional schemas, handling promoters, get sponsors etc).

dj.mario had GIGs on the major clubs in the counties: TM, AR, AB, GJ, CT, HD, IS, CR, VL, AG, usually ending up going to the clubs once every 2 months or less. Also there were a lot of public festivals where he played: Eclipse 1999, House Parade 2003, Yellow Parade 2007-2009, Absolut Disco Tour, Dina Vass tour, Solid Harmony Tour etc.
